The oral doctoral examination of S M Asif Iqbal, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 12 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 202 and via Zoom. Iqbal’s advisors are Professor James (Jay) Henderson and Alexander Nitz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Nidhi Pashine and Joseph D Paulsen. Professor Aoyi Luo will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Mechanics in Soft Matter: Experimental Studies of Bulk 3D-Printed Structures and Ultrathin Polymer Films.”
